Called 911 to get help for his friend.  Luke did not harm or kill anyone.  Forced to take a plea bargain for a crime he did not commit, second degree murder to avoid life without parole that would have been the mandatory minimum for felony murder.

Robert Pryor - Felony Murder

Robert and several other young men entered the home of a drug dealer and a robbery took place.  The boys ran from the home and as they were running away a neighbor came out, shot and killed one of the boys, the remaining boys were charged with felony murder.  They did not kill anyone but all were forced to plead guilty to a crime they did not commit.

Richard Jabobs

Richard had been held at gun point, forced to witness a murder that he would later be charged with.  Richard had never even been in any type of trouble before all this happened. No speeding tickets, drug charges, assaults, no criminal history. He was a good kid barely one month over 18 when he found himself in a bad situation, with people that wanted to cause harm and wanted him to take the blame for it.  He had no reason or motive to commit such a crime, the people who did made sure that it did not matter.

Kris Helton - Exonerated and still held

Yes, you read that correctly.  23 years after exoneration Kris is still in prison for a crime he did not commit.  Why?  Ask his inept defense attorney and a legal system that does not support justice.  Read the story and be shocked like the rest of the free world.

Michael "Drew" Hardy - Wanton Murder

A DUI accident resulting in a death.  Unless the victims family is connected to the victim, then it is murder.  Don't expect due process to help you here.

Sean O'Brien - Felony Murder

Sean is serving Life without Parole since the age of 16.  That sentence was handed down 13 years ago......for a crime he did not commit.  Finally, after 13 years his case will be heard by a magistrate in an evidentiary hearing.  How does someone who never committed a murder get life without parole? Read Seans's story.
Lakeith Smith - Felony Murder

Lakeith never imagined that he would be convicted of felony murder because he never murdered anyone.  The police shot and killed one of a group of kids that were breaking into a home and Lakeith ended up charged with that murder under the felony murder rule.  What Lakeith should have been charged with was burglary or breaking and entering because it was clear that he did those things.  What he did not do is kill someone.
